We held the first WhamBam Story slam

What an incredible night. Beyond my highest expectations. To the story tellers, you where just amazing. From drumming your self into a fit of malaria, then, illegally eating prawns and losing all your worldly possessions, then, falling asleep in central America and waking up as a impromptu beggar, to, finding your self in a martial arts RSVP face slapping date that feels so wrong, to, witnessing the birth of your first son through a neurodiverse surrogate who didn’t want to be touched, to, meeting a lovely lady in a Colombian shoe shop and going to her small village and running for your life away from the FARQ, to, a family camping covid out break that was reconciled with song, to, running through the night in a fluffy purple suit chasing your yellow Honda jazz that has been carjacked by fighting drug dealers, to finally going on the heart breaking journey to start your family using cryo frozen sperm that accidentally thaws out and might have actually been horse semen.

The brilliance and depth of storytelling was way beyond expectations

It was so good, so very good and all of you made that happen, you all made the magic of the night. And now look what you have done, there will be more to come
